Donavon Armbruster (Reverend Jones) appeared in multiple roles for Capital City Theatre's production of Gypsy! Most recent Madison appearances include Leonard in Seminar (Madison Theater Guild); Schultz in Cabaret (Stage Q/Outcast! Tom Hensen (Garrad) is delighted and honored to be making his CCT debut in Englishman...A 40 year veteran of Southern Wisconsin stages, you may remember him in such roles as Potter in CTM's A Wonderful Life, Alfred P. Doolittle in FST's My Fair Lady, or as the Stage Manager in the Armory Dinner Theatre's Our Town, among others. Benji Heying (Reginald) is thrilled to be working with Capital City Theatre. Benji graduated from UW-Madison in 2018 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. At UW-Madison he was a member of the Wisconsin Singers as a singer/dancer and vocal captain. Since then he has been taking voice lessons from Capital City Theatre’s very own Andrew Abrams and participated in Advanced Find Your Light this past summer. Most recently Benji was seen in CTM's annual production of a Christmas Carol. A huge thank you to his friends and family for all of their support!
Flynn Marcus (Johnny Shellshocked) is thrilled to take part in The Englishman..! This will be Flynn's 4th production with Capital City Theatre (CCT) after appearing in Gypsy, Hunchback, and Carrie. Favorite roles include Frankie in Parade (MPT), Laurie in Little Women (MATC), and Enjolras in Les Miz (OSHP). Flynn is a junior at West High School, a proud member of Overture's Jerry Ensemble, and a Find Your Light alum. He is extremely thankful to CCT for so many opportunities to learn and grow as a performer. He sends his deepest gratitude to his family for their endless love and support.
Sabra Michelle (Bryn) is thrilled to be back onstage with CCT after playing Tessie Tura in Gypsy and Lucy Schmeeler/Flossie in On the Town! She most recently played Jolene in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and is known for her roles as Lola/Damn Yankees, Cassie/A Chorus Line Roxie/Chicago, Morticia/Addams Family, and many others. She was featured on the National tour of The Pajama Game, cruising the Hawaiian islands as a dancer on Norwegian Cruise Line’s PRIDE OF AMERICA, and is featured on the “Bear in the Big Blue House LIVE!” video (released by Jim Henson/Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment), with whom she toured the world for 3 seasons. Madison has come to know her as an award-winning teaching artist and choreographer. While living in New York City, between auditions, gigs, and classes, Sabra devoted herself to philanthropic work for Broadway Cares (performing twice in Jerry Mitchell’s BROADWAY BARES) and founded THE COUGAR BALL www.SabraMichelle.com
Annie Stuntebeck (Betty) is delighted to return to the Capital City Theatre stage after her debut as Sue Snell in the first ever CCT Conservatory production of Carrie, the Musical. Her favorite roles include Sandy in Grease, Olive Ostrovsky in Spelling Bee, and Cinderella in Into the Woods. When not on stage, Annie spends her time studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to become a clinical speech pathologist. She would like to thank her family and her friends for their love, support, and encouragement in all she does, as well as Andy Abrams for this wonderful opportunity. Please enjoy the show!
Sam D. White (Evans the Cabbage) has been an active member of the Wisconsin theater community for more than 40 years. He has worked with about every company in Madison including Forward Theater, Madison Ballet, CTM and the former Madison Rep. Very excited to add Capital City Theatre to the list. He most recently appeared as The Father in Forward Theater’s To Peter Pan on Her 70th Birthday by Sarah Ruhl. As a 20-year Army veteran, he was honored to work on the recent Wisconsin Veterans Museum’s Talking Spirits Tour portraying Madison’s Napoleon Bonaparte Van Slyke, a banker, politician and Camp Randall’s quartermaster during the Civil War. Other recent roles include as Robert in Bloomsday, and Morgan in The Drawer Boy, both with Madison’s Strollers Theatre. During the summer of 2018, he played Earl of Gloucester in King Lear for Milwaukee’s Shakespeare in the Park. Sam is a founding member of Forward Theater and serves on its Advisory Company.
