College Prep 101
College Prep Course is a 2-day lecture/workshop designed for students interested in continuing their training in a college musical theatre programs.
Led by Gail Becker, this session focuses on researching schools, applying for acceptance and preparing for college program talent auditions. The second day consists of an optional mock college talent audition in front of distinguished university faculty and professional directors from across the country. This is an excellent workshop to learn what college programs are expecting from auditioning talent and how to give yourself a leg up against the competition.

DAY 1: Sunday, September 8th 6pm-9pm (workshop and lecture)
Learn about different degrees, deadlines, songs on the Do Not Sing list and audition preparation. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend Day 1 of the workshop to acquire pertinent checklists and knowledge regarding the application and audition process.
DAY 2: Saturday, September 14th 12pm-4pm (mock auditions and critiques)
Mock Audition with heads of MT departments, faculty, and expert auditors who will provide feedback and insight. These sessions are paramount for Seniors thinking of going on to higher training in Musical Theatre, however, open to anyone interested in learning about college auditions.
$250 for participation on BOTH days (Limit 20 students)
$125 for Day 1 Lecture and Day 2 AUDIT (non participation)
