BREAKING NEWS: Today we announced $813,000 in Community Impact Grants to area nonprofits to provide support for race equity and academic achievement, STEM learning and entrepreneurship, reading and literacy, nonprofit mergers, arts, environment, and more.
Nonprofits receiving Community Impact Grants include:
100 Black Men of Madison, Arts + Literature Laboratory with The Greater Madison Jazz Consortium, Capital City Theatre, CEOs of Tomorrow, Inc., the Madison chapter of the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race & Justice, Children's Dyslexia Center - Madison, Community GroundWorks at Troy Gardens and the Center for Resilient Cities, Community Shares of Wisconsin, The First Tee of South Central Wisconsin, Free Bikes 4 Kidz Madison, GiGi's Playhouse - Madison, Goodman Community Center, Groundswell Conservancy, Literacy Network, Madison Children's Museum, Madison Circus Space, Madison Public Library, Madison Reading Project, Maydm, Core Knowledge Charter, Sunshine Place, and the Wisconsin Bike Fed.
Today’s grants bring the total giving during 2018 to more than $2.2 million, all made possible by donors who support MCF’s Community Impact funds.
