Meet The Instructor
Alexis "Lexie" Wiley (they/she) is a professional, Chicago-based stage manager. She is a proud alumni of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale where she got her BA in theatre with an emphasis in stage management. She is currently staff at Roosevelt University CCPA as their Production Stage Manager and Props Designer for their larger space (Spring Awakening, Pride & Prejudice, Spunk, 42nd Street). More recently she has worked at Theo Ubique (Baked! the Musical), Lookingglass Theatre (Lucy and Charlie's Honeymoon), and is excited to be returning to Capital City Theatre (Shining in Misery) to teach this SM workshop. Other credits include her work at Bristol Riverside Theatre (Cabaret, A Few Good Men, Murder for Two, I and You, Skeleton Crew, and four concerts), Pioneer Playhouse (Not Now Darling, Breaking Up with Elvis, Sherlock Holmes and the Ice Palace Murders), Unto These Hills, and McLeod Summer Playhouse (Into the Woods, Sister Act). In her free time Lexie likes exploring Chicago, reading, painting, playing board games, and embroidering.
