George Bailey (age: 28-40) - The famous leading man in our story who learns what his life would be like if he were never born. Must be able to play ages 17-40 throughout the course of the show. Lyric Baritone (A2-A4).

Mary Bailey (age: 28-40) - George’s wife and caretaker of the Bailey family. Must be able to play 16-40 throughout the course of the show. Soprano with some light belting (A3-B5).
Harry Bailey (age: 17-27) - George’s younger brother who goes on to become a WWII hero. A sweet kid-brother type who idolizes George. Tenor.
Violet (age: 18-27) - The small-town “bad” girl who carries an unrequited torch for George. Alto.
Sam Wainwright (age: 25-35) - First suitor of Mary but loses to George. Comic role, energetic. Baritone.
Ruth/Hortense (age: 22-30) - Harry’s wife Ruth & a bank teller who is part of the Andrews Sisters-style number. Also plays various other roles. Soprano.
Martini (age: 35-45) - Owner of Martini’s bar, friend to all of Bedford Falls. High Tenor (High Bb required).
Mrs. Hatch/Gladys/Ensemble (age: 38-58) - This track will play many roles throughout the show including Mary’s mother, Potter’s secretary, and is featured in the Andrews Sisters-style number. Soprano.
Mr. Bailey/Joseph (age: 40-60) - George’s father, Joseph the head Angel. Baritone/Bass.
