Come From Away

Capital City Theatre is proud to present Come From Away, featuring the show’s official Replica Creative Elements. Based on a remarkable true story, this heart-warming musical tells how the small town of Gander, Newfoundland doubled in size overnight to care for 6,579 stranded airline passengers in the wake of 9/11. When 38 planes were diverted to its doorstep, a tight-knit community opened their doors and hearts to an international community of strangers, providing food, shelter, and steadfast friendship when it was needed most. Powered by a vibrant, Celtic-infused folk-rock score, this unforgettable musical captures the best of the human spirit, celebrating how generosity, hope, and community can triumph over adversity.

• Running Time: Approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes (performed without an intermission).
