Donations Coordinator

Erin McConnell, an artist with a background in cultural studies, specializes in performance, production, and arts education. She has worked extensively with non-profits, including the Wisconsin Arts Board and Africasong. She has worked widely in media as a writer, editor, and photojournalist, and is the Senior Production Manager for the MLK celebration each year at the Wisconsin State Capitol. A collaborative pianist and vocal instructor, she works regularly as a music director and theater educator, and is active in and around the greater Madison area.

Evan Lange is a music director, composer, and pianist in the Madison Area. Recent music directing credits include Edges (CCT), Daddy Long Legs (CCT), The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill... (CCT), Carrie (CCT), On the Town (Asst. MD, CCT), The Last Five Years (SPTG), Hedwig And The Angry Inch (MPC), All Shook Up (MPT), Cabaret (Out!Cast/StageQ), The Little Mermaid (SPHS), and Urinetown (SPHS).

Evan utilizes his vast amounts of free time to assist with Capital City Theatre's website and e-commerce platform. When not music directing, composing, accompanying, arranging, or producing, Evan can be found searching Google for HTML and CSS tutorials or frantically copying code snippets he doesn't understand from StackOverflow.

Technical Advisor

As a lighting designer, production manager and technical director based in Madison, WI, John has enjoyed a wide variety of work in theater, dance, opera, and music. Locally he continues to work for a variety of companies building scenery, managing various aspects of their productions, or as the lighting designer. Having traveled all over the world with a few different copmpanies, he still ranks Madison as his favorite place to work. Recent Madison credits include work with Capital City Theatre, Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society, Children’s Theater Madison, Forward Theater, Four Seasons Theater, University Opera, Madison Opera, Kanopy Dance and Jazzworks Dance Company, and Li Chiao-Ping Dance. Nationally, credits include Cincinnati Opera, Ping Chong & Co. and Muna Tseng Dance.
