MICHAEL COSTANZO (Mr. Stephens) is very excited to be back on stage in this production of Carrie: The Musical. A Madison native, he completed the Find Your Light Advanced program in 2015. Some memorable credits include Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Adam/Felicia) & Gypsy (L.A.) in Chicago, OUT!Cast Theatre’s Rocky Horror Show (Brad), University Theatre’s Legally Blonde (Emmett), MPT’s A Chorus Line (Mark), and UTA’s Spring Awakening (Georg). EMMA DIAS (Interrogator/Ensemble), age 17, is thrilled to be in her 2nd production with Capital City Theater. Emma has participated in both Advanced and Intermediate Plus Find Your Light. Some of her favorite productions she has performed in include: Cinderella, Hairspray, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pipin, Curtains, The Music Lesson, Suitcase Dreams, Fiddler on the Roof, and Disney’s Aladdin. Emma is an active member with the Jerry Ensemble and is a regular co-host on the Emmy Award winning TV show Into the Outdoors. Emma would like to thank her family, friends, and the entire cast for supporting her passion. Hope we don’t scare you too much!
PARNASSUS FUNK (Miss Gardner) is beyond thrilled to be a part of Capital City Theatre’s Carrie! Her latest onstage role was Donna in Madison West High School’s production of Mamma Mia this past March. Parnassus took Find Your Light Advanced just a few weeks ago, and Find Your Light Intermediate in 2018. She is also a member of Overture’s Jerry Ensemble. Parnassus will be a senior next year, and as she embarks on her last year of high school, she’d like to thank her family, Gail, Andy, and of course, Abby, for being the best team any student actor could ask for.
LAETITIA HOLLARD (Carrie): Laëtitia is honored to be doing her first show with Capital City Theatre. She has completed the Intermediate course of Find Your Light and is thankful for all the joy and learning it has brought her. Currently, Laetitia is also performing in Macbeth with American Players Theatre. You might have seen her in LINES with Theatre LILA, or A Christmas Carol, To the Promised Land, American Girl Revue and Shrek the Musical with the Children Theatre of Madison. When offstage, she enjoys spending time with her friends, being involved in her community and traveling. Laëtitia wants to thank Capital City Theatre for this opportunity and everyone who has supported her to this point. TESS LENZEN - (Chris) is going into her sophomore year at UAB studying Musical Theatre. Her past roles include Swing in Savage (UAB), Madame in The Maids (UAB), and Carmen in Curtains (Memorial High). She has taken FYL Intermediate Plus (2017) and Advanced (2017,2018). She’d like to thank her parents for their constant support. Enjoy!
FLYNN MARCUS (George): Flynn is thrilled to be in Carrie, his second production with CCT after appearing as a Newsboy in Gypsy! He will be a junior at West this fall and just completed his third summer in CCT's Find Your Light Conservatory. Favorite roles include Enjolras in Les Miz (OSHP) and Snail in A Year with Frog & Toad (CTM). He's also looking forward to playing Frankie Epps in Parade with MPT in September. Flynn sends his deepest gratitude to CCT for this opportunity, and to his family for their endless love and support.
MADDIE MOSLEY (Frieda) is a 2019 Advanced Find Your Light student and excited to play the role of Frieda in Carrie. Favorite roles include Gladys in Pajama Game (Sun Prairie High School), Medda Larkin in Newsies, and Little Inez in Hairspray (Verona Area Community Theatre). She is ecstatic to perform this great show with a just as great cast. She would also like to thank her friends and family for support, as well as the cast and crew for making this show the greatest it can be.
MALEA NIESEN (Helen) is extremely excited to be a part of the production of Carrie! A sophomore at Sauk Prairie High School, Malea has been doing theatre for her whole life. She played Winnie Foster in the regional premier of Tuck Everlasting with CTM and recently was dance captain for the production Willy Wonka at CTM. Carrie is her first show with Capital City Theatre, although Malea has participated in Capital City Theatre’s Find Your Light program for the past two years. She would like to thank both of her parents for supporting her, her sister for always being there for her, and Andrew Abrams and Gail Becker for helping her become the best performer she can be!
JANELLE SANABRIA (Margaret): Past musical performances include Eulalie Shinn in Music Man (Monona Grove), Irene Roth in Crazy For You (Monona Grove), and ensemble/chorus roles in Little Shop Of Horrors (VACT) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (CCT). Janelle was enrolled in Advanced Find Your light, 2019. She would like to thank her Mom, Dad, Deandra, and Nathaniel for the incredible support they’ve provided.
ZACHARIAH STERNER (Billy) is thrilled to be working again with Capital City Theatre Conservatory (CCTC) in their production of Carrie! Zachariah is a Find Your LIght alumni and took the Advanced seminar during the summer of 2018. A few of his recent performances include JD in Heathers the Musical, Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening, and in the choir of Capital City Theatre’s production of Hunchback of Notre Dame. JAMAL STONE (Tommy): Jamal is in 11th grade and attends Sun Prairie High School in Sun Prairie. He is extremely grateful for his directors for giving him the chance to perform in Carrie The Musical. He is also grateful for the love and support from his family and friends and would like to thank all those involved in Carrie The Musical for making this an amazing show. Jamal is no stranger to the stage with favorite credits like Prez (The Pajama Game), Jack Kelly(Newsies), and Seaweed (Hairspray). Enjoy the show!
ANNIE STUNTEBECK (Sue) is delighted to be performing as Sue in her first show with Capital City Theatre after participating in FYL Intermediate in 2015. Her favorite credits include Sandy (Grease) with Aligning Stars Theatre, as well as Olive Ostrovsky (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and Cinderella (Into the Woods) with McFarland High School. When not on stage, Annie spends her time studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She would like to thank her family and friends for their love, support, and encouragement in all she does. JOHN STUNTEBECK (Freddy) is excited to make his debut with Capital City Theatre after participating in FYL Intermediate this summer. He has appeared in several shows including Chicago (Amos) and Grease (Johnny Casino) with Aligning Stars Theatre, as well as Annie (Bert Healy) and Guys and Dolls (Ensemble) with McFarland High School. He will be a Junior at Mcfarland High School and is eager to perform in their new auditorium this fall. He would like to thank Andy and Gail for being fantastic mentors and his family and friends for always supporting and encouraging him.
BRAYDEN TURNER (Stokes) is excited to be in his first CCT conservatory production. He did his first Advanced Find Your Light Intensive this summer. He graduated from Baraboo High School this year and was in several high school productions. His favorite role was Chip in his last high school production of On The Town. He plans to further his theatre education, seeking a B.A. in theatre at Loyola University Chicago this fall. He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him and encouraging him to follow his passions.
KATE VEAK (Norma). Kate is ecstatic to be in her first Capital City Theatre production! She participated in the Find Your Light Intermediate program in 2016.
