Travis is an actor, writer, and producer, last seen at Capital City Theatre as Phoebus in Hunchback of Notre Dame. Recent work includes: BURY ME IN ARMOR, a film starring Alice Kremelberg and featuring Ed Asner, which just wrapped its festival run (New York Independent Film Festival, San Jose, Richmond, Garden State, Newport Beach, Mammoth...). Past performances include: Charles Bingley in Pride and Prejudice: A New Musical (Amazon Prime), the World Premiere of Prince of Egypt (TheatreWorks, Silicon Valley), Merrily We Roll Along (Wallis Annenberg), Dir. Charlie Tingen (Anatole)
Charlie Tingen is thrilled to be making his Capital City Theatre debut! Charlie is an NYC–based actor who has performed Off-Broadway, in national tours, with symphony orchestras, and at opera companies and regional theatres throughout the United States. Favorite credits include: Enjolras in Les Misérables, Freddy in My Fair Lady, Tony in West Side Story, Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show, Jack in Into the Woods, and Maximillian in Candide. He has appeared as a soloist with symphony orchestras such as: Utah Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, North Carolina Symphony, and Pacific Symphony. Madelaine Vandenberg (Sonya)
Madelaine Vandenberg (she/her) is a New York City-based actress excited to be here at CCT! Regional credits include Natalie in Next to Normal at Porthouse Theatre, Urinetown: The Musical at Cider Mill Playhouse, and Caitlin in The Fear of Flying at New York Theater Festival. Most recently she sang backup for Lisa Howard in her show, What Christmas Means to Me, at Feinstein’s/54 Below and filmed the short film, Double Dump, written by EJ Dohring, available to watch on YouTube. Gail Becker is a seasoned musical theater artist from Chicago now living in Madison. Performing credits include - National Tour: Babes in Toyland. Madison: On the Town (Madame Dilly), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Featured Soloist) and Gypsy (Mazeppa) with Capital City Theatre, Tuck Everlasting (Mae - regional premiere), James and the Giant Peach, Aladdin and A Christmas Carol with CTM, Sweeney Todd, Dead Man Walking, and many others with Madison Opera. Stella Kim (Hélène)
Stella was born and raised in Southern California and now resides in New York City. She had the great opportunity of performing alongside theatre greats at the historic 17,000 seat Hollywood Bowl in Into the Woods as Lucinda. Credits include: Maureen in Rent, Marta in Company, Gigi in Miss Saigon (Broadway World LA – Best Featured Actress), McCoy Rigby’s Les Miserables (Ovation Nominated), Narrator in Joseph…, Lady Thiang in The King and I (ITL Award), and Ariel in The Little Mermaid. Erin McConnell (Mary)
Erin McConnell is an actor, composer, and arts educator working in the greater Madison Area. Favorite stage credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzhak/MPC), Cabaret (Emcee/Out!Cast:StageQ), and Lizzie (Bridget/MTM). She has worked in media as a photojournalist and independent filmmaker. She works regularly as a music director at UW-Madison and MATC, as well as many regional theater companies. She enjoys empowering the next generation of artists through youth arts programs, including Girls Rock Camp and Whoopensocker. She is honored to be joining the regional premiere of this amazing show. Ashton Florence (Ensemble)
Ashton is delighted to be returning to Capital City Theatre for his third show. He has been seen previously in On the Town (Capital City Theatre), FlipSide (an original work with Magnum Opus Ballet Company), and Andrew Keenan-Bolger in Concert (Capital City Theatre). He currently performs with Madison Contemporary Dance Company and studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison getting his BS in Dance and BA in Communication Arts - television, film, and radio with a Digital Studies Certificate. He also currently coaches the Monona Grove High School Varsity Dance Team. Benji Heying (Ensemble)
Benji is ecstatic to be performing with CCT again and to be a part of this regional premiere! Benji has most recently been seen in A Christmas Carol with CTM and Edges with CCT Conservatory. He is a Find Your Light alumnus and takes classes regularly through the CCT Conservatory. When not performing, Benji works as a Process Engineer at Promega in Fitchburg. Julia holds her BFA in Acting from Shenandoah Conservatory and is a proud Moscow Art Theater and National Theater Institute alumna. Laetitia is very excited to be joining CCT for their production of The Great Comet. You may have seen her as Carrie in Carrie the Musical in CCT’s conservatory production. Laetitia has also appeared in MacBeth with American Players Theater, LINES with Theatre LILA, The Revolutionists with Coachella Valley Repertory, and A Christmas Carol, To the Promised Land, American Girl Revue, and Shrek the Musical with the Children Theatre of Madison. She just finished her first year at the Juilliard School for acting and is happy to be back home for the summer. Alvon Reed (Ensemble)
Alvon Reed is an Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at The University of Alabama. He earned his MFA in Dance from the University of Iowa. He has performance credits include Nike, PUMA, Levi’s Jeans, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Inland Pacific Ballet, Jennifer Muller/The Works, Arena Stages' first multi-ethnic production of Oklahoma, and the Broadway workshop of Superfly The Musical with Bill T. Jones. His choreographic credits include Pippin, Pirates of Penzance, Shrek The Musical, The Little Mermaid, Sister Act, Newsies, American Idiot, Big Love, and Ragtime.
